Dan is a listener, collaborator, experimenter, educator, community music organizer, and violinist living and working in the south side of Chicago. Their musical practice explores intersections of sound, gesture, language, the intentionality of mistakes, as well as music’s potential for self and group healing. His performance combines curation, historical research, and collaboration with others in the creation of new works and presentation of historic musical works.
